Terms of use

What we offer

Giftopia lets you create a personalised digital gift: a web page with your photos, text, music and animations, shared through a private link. It is a digital product. Nothing physical is shipped.

Your content

• You keep ownership of the photos, words, music and voice recordings you add.
• You give us permission to store and display your content only to create and show your gift to people who have the link.
• You confirm you have the right to use everything you upload, including photos of other people and any music.
• Do not upload anything illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, harassing, or that violates someone else's privacy or copyright. We may remove such gifts without refund.

Payment and price

The price shown before payment (currently ₹199 per gift) is the total amount you pay. Your gift link is activated only after you confirm the purchase yourself and your payment is received.

Availability

We work to keep gifts online and working, but the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. Gift links stay active for at least [DURATION, e.g. 1 year] from purchase.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total responsibility for any claim related to a gift is limited to the amount you paid for that gift.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the courts at [CITY, STATE].

Privacy policy

We collect only what we need to make and deliver your gift, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

• Gift content: names, photos, letters, messages, music and voice recordings you add.
• Contact details: your phone number or email, if you give them for your order or support.
• Payment details: the transaction reference of your payment. We do not see or store your card or UPI PIN.
• Usage data: basic, anonymous information about how the website is used, to improve it.

How we use it

• To create, store and show your gift to people who have its link.
• To confirm payments and help you if something goes wrong.
• We do not use your photos or messages for advertising, and we do not share them with anyone except the service providers we need to run the website.

Who can see your gift

Anyone who has the private link can open the gift. Share it only with the people you want to see it.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the website: hosting ([e.g. Netlify / Cloudflare]), database and file storage ([e.g. Supabase]), and payments ([UPI / PAYMENT GATEWAY NAME]).

How long we keep it

We keep your gift for as long as its link is active. You can ask us to delete your gift and its photos at any time using the contact details below, and we will do so within [e.g. 7 days].

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Write to us at [SUPPORT EMAIL].

Refund & cancellation

You can watch your complete gift for free before paying, so you know exactly what you are buying.

When you will get a full refund

• The gift link does not open or does not work because of a problem on our side, and we cannot fix it within 48 hours.
• You were charged more than once for the same gift.
• You paid, but your gift link was not activated.

When a refund is not possible

• After the gift link has been activated and works as shown in the free preview, because it is a personalised digital product.
• For mistakes in names, photos or text entered by you. You can still edit them, free of charge, as explained on the website.

How to ask for a refund

Message us within 7 days of payment with your payment reference and gift link at [WHATSAPP NUMBER] or [SUPPORT EMAIL]. We reply within 48 hours. Approved refunds are sent to your original payment method within [e.g. 5–7 working days].

Cancellation

There is no cancellation charge. If you change your mind before your gift link is activated, tell us and we will refund you in full.

Delivery

Giftopia sells only digital gifts. Nothing is shipped.

• Your private gift link is ready within [e.g. a few minutes / 2 hours] of your payment being confirmed.
• You share the link yourself, on WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS or anywhere you like.
• The gift opens in any modern mobile or computer browser. No app is needed.
